Our mission at Kalamazoo Brewers Baseball is to provide an exceptional baseball experience that goes beyond the game. We are dedicated to fostering the growth and development of young athletes in Kalamazoo and surrounding communities, instilling values of integrity, teamwork, and character both on and off the field. Our organization is committed to delivering high-quality coaching, and a supportive environment that encourages personal and athletic growth. Through the game of baseball, we aim to teach valuable life skills, promote physical fitness, and cultivate a lifelong love for the sport. We strive to create a sense of community and belonging, where players, coaches, families, and fans come together to create memories and build lasting relationships. Our ultimate goal is to produce well-rounded individuals who excel in baseball, contribute to their community, and succeed in all aspects of life. Together, we are The Kalamazoo Brewers, united in our passion for the game and our commitment to developing the leaders of tomorrow.

At this time we have a 12U and two 14U Travel Baseball teams for the 2024-2025 season.  If you are interested in joining us or starting a team please contact us.  We would love to have you! 

Our main focus will be on developing our players to get ready for the high school level.  We expect that they will be strong players and make an impact on their high school team.  We believe that the way to do that is through work on individual, position specific skills in practice, and then follow that up facing solid competition during the spring and summer season.    We have plans to practice in the winter at The Dome in Schoolcraft and we will be integrating Coach Mike into our practices.  This way the boys will get exposed to professional coaching on a weekly basis.  Coach Mike has extensive experience in preparing athletes for high school and collegiate baseball.  He has been a varsity head coach, and has received numerous accolades and awards while leading his teams to state and regional finals.  After fall ball we will be providing an individual plan for each athlete.  These will provide off season throwing, strength and conditioning, mental and position specific skills.  We will foster a supportive team environment that will produce consistent winners on and off the field.  

As the team gets into high school we anticipate attending showcases to get exposure to scouts and recruiters, so that our players will have ample opportunity to be recruited to play at the collegiate level if they desire.  We also anticipate keeping this team together, so that they will have a summer home after high school season ends, and supportive coaches to work out with in the winter before high school tryouts.  Sometimes the difference between making your high school team and not is that winter preparation working on weaknesses and improving strengths.
